Our Volunteer Centre has achieved Volunteer Centre Quality Award (VCQA) accreditation for a further 3 years

Here at Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service we are celebrating the fact that we have once again been awarded Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation (VCQA).  Every three years we go through a rigorous quality assurance process in order to maintain the award.

This re-accreditation provides assurance that the Volunteer Centre is providing a high quality and effective service.

Our volunteer centre helps over a thousand people a year who are looking to volunteer and helps non-profit organisations to benefit from the support of volunteers who help to run their services.

The NCVO assessor reported that,

“There is no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation for Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service. All submitted evidence was of a high standard. Appropriate planning and evaluation techniques are demonstrated in all areas of work and activities match local need.

The organisation demonstrates a commitment to maintaining quality services with sound business planning processes, despite experiencing funding challenges”

Our Acting Chief Executive Officer, Dave Robinson says,

“We are very pleased with this award and we remain Nottingham city’s only accredited volunteer centre.  A big thank you goes to all our volunteers who advise people in the centre for continually providing a quality service and making the volunteer centre the success that it is.”

Look out for celebration events coming soon.
